Business Trip (part 0) - The Flight
So it started off with saying good-bye to my family and fiancé, whom I will miss very much. The trip that is planned is for Ektron Development Training under their latest flagship product, CMS 400 .NET v6.
DAY 1
No commentsToday (overnight) was the flight day in which I took the 11:15pm flight and arrived in Chicago at 4:40am CST. First was a relaxing shuttle ride by the great Larry L. He was able to get their in perfect timing and not be a mute.
New EvCC Design
*UNCLASSIFIED*
EvCC was first contracted back in 2001 with an outside company to create the website for the college. It met many of the needs of the college at the time, however has grown into a pain to update, communicate and provide information in an efficient manner.
Starting in 2005, the administration asked for a re-design to be developed, to provide both usability and a student centric website. Since then, the WSC has given the OK for us to go ahead and start the design and development. At this time, we are still in the site organization and layout of the site. With the help of Greg K., Sidnee W. and myself, we continue refining our results and the site will be released.. __________ (date classified).
Continue checking back for more information during this busy and exciting time for the college campus and community. Stay Close… Go Far!
Whitehorse Hall
With the new Arts & Science building in some of the last stages, I took a walk-through with some of the Visual Arts faculty on a ’sneak-peek’ tour.
The Hall is immaculate in design and many things are almost done. I loved the wide open areas and the chemistry labs the most. I was able to take a few pictures from inside. To view the gallery, click on the picture to the right. Also, you can check out the rest of the construction gallery I put together HERE!
